METHODOLOGY & SEARCH PROCESS
With approximately 15 years experience in the Executive Search Industry, The Global Headhunting Group generally approaches each executive search assignment with a consistent, proven, five-step process.
This is as follows:
Define the Client’s Objectives and Requirements
- Discuss and ensure indepth understanding of the clients organisation and corporate culture
- Prepare a profile of the executive, job description, responsibilities and reporting structure of the new incumbent
- Present these documents to the client for discussion and final approval.
- In line with the client’s requirements, prepare the search plan for the assignment.
- Discuss and agree the plan with the client.
Identify relevant Executives
- Identify relevant executives based on the assignments from the global network.
- Interview, screen and evaluate candidates as per corporate policy.
- Prepare an initial shortlist of relevant candidates including profiles and current compensation packages.
- Present and discuss profiles with client
- Obtain feedback from the client.
Arrange Interviews Between Client and Candidate
- Organise interviews between the client and the candidates.
- Follow up with the client and candidate to obtain feedback.
- If the candidate is shortlisted further, take up references.
- Depending on the client’s procedure, organise further interviews.
Once the Client has Selected the Executive
- Organise final interviews between the client and executive.
- If required mediate and negotiate remuneration package.
- Confirm joining date to the client.
After Selection Services.
- Work closely with the executive during transition period to client.
- After 3 months follow up with both client and executive.
- After 6 months follow up with both client and executive.
- Assignment completed.
